Julius Becker,
founder of the Becker Mercantile Company. Becker arrived in Round Valley in October 1875.
 He died in 1893.
Below is a picture of Gustav Becker leaving Belen, New Mexico, on his way to Round Valley.  He traveled by horseback bringing all his worldly possessions with him, arriving on August 20, 1876.  He took over management of the Becker store that was started by Julius in March of 1876.
